Social Hockey

Waterford Hockey Club offers Social Hockey on a weekly basis at Newtown School hockey pitch.  Please see our ‘Taking up Hockey / Training Times’ page for the weekly time slot.

Social Hockey is ideal for those who may have never played the sport of hockey before and would simply like to give it a go; for those who may have played hockey at school and feel like coming back to it; or for those who don’t wish to play competition hockey.  So maybe you fancy having a go at a new sport or you have watched your kids play hockey in the club?  Well if so, why not come along to Social Hockey and give it a go. You know you want to!

We can provide a hockey stick if you don’t have your own.  However, we advise that you bring shin pads and a mouth guard.  Each session costs €5.
