All new and existing members must return a completed Registration eForm along with paying the appropriate membership fees. (see Membership Process section below for more details).
The online COVID-19 Health Questionnaire must also be completed 48 hours in advance of all participant’s first training session.
All membership fees are due by Thursday, 15th October 2020. A strict ‘no pay no play’ policy will apply after this date.
All non club members, who are considering becoming a member of Waterford Hockey Club are required to pay a €20 fee at their first session, so they can be registered as a temporary member of the club. This fee allows participants to attend 4 try-out sessions, after which they are required to register as a new member and pay the appropriate membership fee if continuing. This initial €20 payment should be deducted from the membership fee amount when completing registration.
Annual Membership Fees
For children’s relevant age category, age is as of 1st January 2020.
Full member (18 and over): €230
College student / unemployed: €150
Age 15 – U18: €150
Age 11 – 14: €120
Waterford Hockey Academy (per child): €100
Stradbally Hockey Academy (per child): €60
Family membership (up to 2 adults plus 1 or more children): €450
Associate / social member: €55
Annual membership to Waterford Hockey Club is a two-step process.
Step 1: Submit your completed Registration eForm
Download the Registration eForm using the link above. The form can be filled out electronically or printed and filled out by hand.
- Download the Registration eForm before filling it out to ensure your inputted data will save correctly.
- Ensure all relevant sections of the form are completed.
- All forms must be signed. Forms will not be accepted if they are not signed by all relevant parties.
- New members will be issued with a Hockey Ireland Registration Number (H.I. Reg. No.) after registration is processed by the club Membership Secretary.
- Existing members can contact the club Membership Secretary if they do not know their Hockey Ireland Registration Number (H.I. Reg. No.).
Step 2: Submit your membership payment
We accept membership fees by cash, cheque or bank transfer / online banking.
If you are paying by bank transfer / online banking, please email a copy of your proof of bank payment directly to the club ‘Treasurer’, Hanorah O’Leary, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our club’s bank account details are as follows:
Payee Account Name: Waterford Hockey Club IBAN: IE33 IPBS 9906 3500 4271 01 BIC: IPBSIE2D Reference: (VERY IMPORTANT) please use your Hockey Ireland member’s registration number (if known) or member’s initial and surname in your reference so that we can clearly identify your online bank payment.
If you wish to pay by installments please contact our club Treasurer, Hanorah O’Leary, to confirm an agreed payment schedule.
Alternatively, please enclose the completed Registration Form along with the membership fees payment (cash or cheque payment) in an envelope. Place the member’s name(s) clearly on the front of the envelope. Envelopes should be handed to the club Membership Secretary, your team captain or coach, the Youth Hockey or Academy Coordinators, or any of our ‘Club Officials’. Cheques are to be made payable to ‘Waterford Hockey Club’ and crossed.
Receipts will be issued to you in due course.
It is essential that the membership fees are paid on time for the purpose of enabling the club to pay affiliation fees, insurance***, pitch rental, lights and equipment bills, etc.
*** Our club insurance is limited to third party only. We recommend that all members have their own personal insurance in place.
